Does it make sense to differentiate yoga styles?
Find relaxation, become more flexible, have less back pain. There are many reasons why we practice yoga. However, the result is almost always the same: we gain access to our mind through the body and, over time, make it less erratic and therefore more focused.
It doesn't really matter which way we practice yoga. Some even claim that there is no point in dividing yoga into different styles, because at the end of the day everything is just yoga: a spiritual practice consisting of physical and mental exercises.
And yet it is legitimate to adapt the yoga practice to one's own requirements. It is allowed to develop, just as our lives are not always linear. While maybe ten years ago we were still looking for a practice that would exhaust us and, above all, physically challenge us, today we are more longing for exercises that give us relaxation and rest.
